John Jessup and Laura Lee attending the Fall MeetingWhat an incredible week it has been! The SEPA Board meeting in Asheville, North Carolina was a huge success, and we couldn’t be more thrilled with the outcome! From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this was going to be a special event. We even managed to control the weather for the duration of the meeting, ensuring that everyone was comfortable and able to fully enjoy all that Asheville had to offer.

With over 140 attendees, including a record-breaking 16 first-time attendees, the SEPA Board meeting was a true testament to the growth and success of our organization. We were honored to welcome members from all over the country, and it was inspiring to see so many passionate individuals come together to discuss the future of our industry.

The Golf event was a highlight for many, offering a chance to unwind and connect with fellow attendees. The trolley and brewery tours were also hugely popular, providing a unique opportunity to explore the local culture and attractions.

While we certainly had our fair share of fun, we also managed to accomplish a great deal of business during the meeting. The NC-PERF, GA ACCP, and five SEPA committees all met before the final Board meeting, which drew a crowd of over 100 members. The discussions were lively and productive, and we are excited to see the progress that will come from these important conversations.

We were honored to be joined by some incredible guest speakers, including Kate Gaziano from NPGA and Bridget Kidd and Kirstain McArdle from PERC. Their presentations were insightful and engaging, and we are grateful for their contributions to the meeting.

Looking ahead, we are already counting down the days until the next SEPA Board meeting, which will be held in Charlotte, North Carolina at the Southeast Expo on April 5-7th 2024. We encourage all of our members to mark their calendars and plan to attend. For those who are interested in getting even more involved, we invite you to consider becoming a year-round sponsor for SEPA in 2024. Your support will help us continue to grow and thrive, and we couldn’t do it without you!

In closing, we want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who attended the SEPA Board meeting in Asheville, North Carolina. Your energy, enthusiasm, and passion for our industry are what make SEPA such a special organization, and we are honored to be a part of it. Here’s to a bright future for SEPA and all of its members!
